Chess Guy
I play chess a little bit. I'm not that good, but the more you drink, the better I play.
I'm a longtime chess player and have stayed involved in the game in a few different ways over the years. I'm the president of the Arlington Chess Club in Arlington, Texas, and I also handle web development for the Arlington Chess Club, the Texas Chess Association, and the Correspondence Chess League of America.
On top of that, I'm a Senior Tournament Director for the United States Chess Federation and a National Arbiter for FIDE. I enjoy being part of the chess community not just as a player, but also by helping support clubs, tournaments, and the people who keep chess going.
Next year I will begin assisting an elementary school chess program for Arlington Independent School District, and I'll be serving as advisor for the Maverick Chess Club at The University of Texas at Arlington.
